Как рассуждать в № 3

Главное — смотреть на вопросительное слово и вспомогательный глагол:

• Who’s she? — спрашивают о человеке: My big sister. — 6
• What do you do on Sundays? — обычное действие: I read stories. — 11
• Does your dad like chips? — начинается с Does, поэтому ответ: No, he doesn’t. — 12
• Did they play basketball? — Did, значит: No, they didn’t. — 9
• What is it? — один предмет: It’s a tea set. — 10
• Where’s a mirror? — спрашивают о месте: It’s in the bathroom. — 2
• What are they? — много предметов: They’re boats. — 8
• Can I have some more bread, please? — просьба, вежливый ответ: Here you are. — 4
• Can dolphins fly? — вопрос с can: No, they can’t. — 5
• What are you doing? — действие сейчас: I’m painting a picture. — 7
• Where were you yesterday? — прошедшее время, место: I was at the circus. — 3
• Whose is this rocking horse? — вопрос о принадлежности: It’s my little brother’s. — 1

Полезно запомнить: Who’s — «кто», а whose — «чей».

Как рассуждать в № 4

1. I am in Year 4 now. — «Я сейчас в 4 классе». Здесь нужен глагол be: am.
2. I have got a new school bag. — «У меня есть новый портфель». I сочетается с have got.
3. There is a new pencil case in it. — один предмет, поэтому is.
4. ...and there are new books too. — книг несколько, поэтому are.
5. And we have got a new... — с we используем have got, а не has got.
