Welcome to Earth! A Guide for Space Teens

Earth has strong gravity, so life here is very different. When eating, sit at a table and use a plate; food will not float away. Do not throw anything!
For sleeping, use a bed and a pillow. You may feel heavy, so choose a comfortable position.
Wash in the shower with water, not wet wipes, and hold the handrail.
Exercise gently at first: walking and stretching are enough. Your muscles will hurt, but this is normal.
Do chores slowly: carry light things and ask for help with heavy boxes.
In your free time, walk in a park, play ball games or ride a bike. Remember to drink water and rest.

I’m going to talk about life in space. First of all, lack of gravity changes everyday life completely. Everything floats, so astronauts have to strap themselves to seats, use tethers and keep their things in special bags. They sleep in sleeping bags fixed to the wall and eat special food that does not float away. In their free time, astronauts read books, watch films, listen to music, take photos of the Earth and email their families. They also spend about two hours a day exercising on special machines to keep their muscles strong. As for their work, they do scientific experiments, check equipment, repair the station and sometimes go on spacewalks. Would I like to live in space? I would love to visit a space station because the views must be amazing. However, I would not like to live there for a long time: I would miss my family, fresh food and gravity. That’s all I wanted to say.

Как понять принцип

Листовка — это инструкция, а не рассказ. Нужны заголовок и короткие команды: sit, use, do not throw, wash, carry, ask, walk.
Каждый пункт задания должен быть закрыт: eat, sleep, wash, exercise, chores, free time.
Работает схема: команда + причина/следствие. Например: “Sit at a table… food will not float away”.
Проверка: в листовке 6 тем и 110–120 слов; в монологе есть невесомость, свободное время, работа astronauts и личное мнение.
