My Neighbourhood
I live in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a small park opposite my house, and a supermarket next to it. There is also a post office behind the supermarket. Opposite the post office, there is a bank, and next to the bank there is a café. My favourite place is the park because I play football there with my friends. I really like my neighbourhood.
How to write your own
- Start with your opinion: I live in a nice/quiet/busy neighbourhood.
- Name the places nearby: There is a park / There are two shops.
- Use position words: opposite — напротив, next to — рядом с, behind — позади.
- Finish with your favourite place and why: My favourite place is … because …

Мой район
Я живу в тихом районе. Напротив моего дома есть небольшой парк, а рядом с ним — супермаркет. Позади супермаркета также есть почта. Напротив почты находится банк, а рядом с банком — кафе. Моё любимое место — парк, потому что там я играю в футбол с друзьями. Мне очень нравится мой район.
