How to remember the main ideas
- The diamond = the infield; the area beyond it is the outfield.
- The key matching words are often synonyms:
- closer → pitcher who ends the game;
- chest protector → padded vest;
- on deck → next up to bat;
- pennant → prize for winning a division;
- out → player is removed from play.
- In the matching task, every definition A–T is used exactly once, so checking that no letter is repeated is a good final check.
