My Neighbours
I live in a block of flats in a quiet part of the city. I have several neighbours, and I am lucky because most of them are friendly and helpful.
Next door to us lives the Ivanov family. There are four people in it: Mr and Mrs Ivanov and their two children. They are polite and sociable. We often greet each other in the morning and sometimes talk in the yard. Their son is my age, so we sometimes play football together.
On the floor above us lives an elderly woman, Aunt Vera. She is very kind. When she needs help with heavy bags, my parents or I help her. In return, she sometimes gives us homemade cakes.
Of course, neighbours can sometimes make noise or forget to keep the entrance clean. But I think it is important to be tolerant and respect each other. Good neighbours make a house feel like home, and I am glad that we get on well with ours.
