Tom: Hi, Anna! Do you live in a house or a block of flats?
Anna: I live in a block of flats in the suburbs. My flat is on the third floor.
Tom: Is your neighbourhood quiet or noisy?
Anna: It’s quiet. There is a garage and a small basement near my block of flats.
Tom: How many rooms are there in your flat?
Anna: There are four rooms: a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and my bedroom. I have my own room.
Tom: What’s in your room?
Anna: There is a bed and a desk in my room. There are also some shelves and a wardrobe.
Tom: Do you help at home?
Anna: Yes, I sometimes help at home. I always make my bed and sometimes take the rubbish out. I don’t mind dusting the furniture.
Tom: That’s great. I sometimes do the washing-up and mop the floor too.
Как построить похожий диалог
Раздели тему на 3 части:
- где и в каком жилье ты живёшь;
- какой у тебя район, комната и что в ней;
- какие домашние обязанности ты выполняешь.
Превращай утверждения из плана в вопросы:
- I live in a block of flats. → Do you live in a house or a block of flats?
- It’s on the third floor. → Which floor is your flat on?
- My neighbourhood is quiet. → Is your neighbourhood quiet or noisy?
- There are four rooms. → How many rooms are there in your flat?
- I sometimes help at home. → Do you help at home?
Выбирай по одному варианту из каждого пункта. Не нужно перечислять всё сразу: лучше добавить 1–2 детали, чтобы диалог звучал естественно.
Помни конструкции:
- on the third floor — на третьем этаже;
- in the suburbs — в пригороде;
- there is + один предмет, there are + несколько;
- always / sometimes / never ставятся перед смысловым глаголом: I always make my bed;
- I don’t mind + глагол с -ing: I don’t mind dusting the furniture.
- do the washing-up — мыть посуду; do the washing — стирать.
Проверка
В диалоге есть вопросно-ответная форма, использованы все основные блоки плана и правильные предлоги: on the third floor, in the suburbs, near my block of flats.
