Как это понимать

• Present Simple — факты и постоянное: Ice melts, He lives…
• Present Continuous — действие сейчас: is Bob doing, is having a shower.
• Past Simple/Past Continuous: noticed — короткое действие, was speaking — процесс в тот момент.
• since morning / yet → Present Perfect: has been looking, hasn’t found.
• После said будущее часто переходит в future-in-the-past: will → would.
• В № 12: by the time we returned, the competition had begun — действие завершилось до другого прошедшего.
• В тексте важны устойчивые сочетания: be inspired by an idea, tell sb to do sth, deep in one’s heart, manage to do sth, for the first time.
