Как понять принцип

• Сначала смотрим, что на картинке: предмет, количество или действие.

  • a knife, a spoon, a piece, 100 grams — существительные/количество;
  • add, cut, mix — глаголы-действия.

• В упражнении 6 помогают подсказки в самом предложении:

  • «I haven’t got ___» → нужен предмет: a spoon;
  • «because I’m going to cut some bread» → нужен предмет для резки: a knife;
  • «into small pieces» → действие cut;
  • «with a large spoon» → mix;
  • «and then ___ 50 grams of butter» → add;
  • «butter» измеряется граммами → 100 grams.

• Проверка: после need ставим существительное (need a knife / 100 grams), а после going to — глагол в начальной форме (going to cut / mix / add).
