Key rule: Present Simple
- We use Present Simple for routines and facts: every five minutes, every weekend, every Saturday.
- With he / she / it or one person, add -s / -es:
- wash → washes
- watch → watches
- study → studies (consonant + y → ies)
- have → has
- With I / we / you / they or plural subjects, use the base verb: play, like, go.
- Fixed phrases: like going (like + -ing) and go shopping.
Check: all nine verbs are used once: read, wash, watch, play, have, study, help, like, go.
