11. Where is the English lesson held?

Вместо Class 5 / Class 4A в некоторых учебниках пишут the fifth form / Form 4A — оба варианта передают «5 класс / 4А класс».

В № 11 можно проще: Where is the English lesson? Это тоже правильно.

12. Translate the dialogues

Dialogue 1

— Hello! My name is Mary Green.
— Hello! I am Tanya Petrova.
— How old are you, Tanya?
— I am 11. And you, Mary?
— I am 11 too.
— Nice to meet you!
— Nice to meet you too! Let’s go to the music lesson together!

Dialogue 2

— Hello, Maria Petrovna!
— Hello, Katya. You have grown so much! How old are you?
— 11. I am in Class 5.
— What a beautiful dress you are wearing!
— This is our uniform: a white blouse and a blue skirt. I like it very much.

Как понять принцип

• Возраст: по-английски говорят I am 12, а не «I have 12». Вопрос: How old is Tom?
• Имя и класс: His name is...; He is in Class 5 — то есть «он учится в 5 классе», без дословного studies.
• Вопрос с be: сначала ставим is/are: Is this a pencil? Where is the lesson?
• Present Simple: если говорим о нём/ней, глагол получает -s: She teaches Russian. Но в вопросе с does окончание уходит: What subjects does he study? — не studies.
• Артикли: a pencil / a pen — один предмет; the English lesson — конкретный урок.
• Формулы диалога: Nice to meet you! — Nice to meet you too!; Let’s go...; What a beautiful dress!

Проверь главное: How old is...?, He is in Class 5, does he study, What a beautiful dress!
