Это упражнение на предлоги движения. Заполненный вариант:

1. The owl is flying along the floor.
2. It’s so stuffy here. Let me get out of the classroom.
3. Put your book onto the desk.
4. You should walk around the corner and you’ll see the library.
5. The ball rolled down the hill and fell into the river.
6. The boy is moving along the road.
7. The plane is going through the clouds.
8. John is trying to throw his shoe onto the garage roof.
9. Diana jumped into the swimming pool.
10. The lion jumped over the barrier.

Как выбирать предлог движения:

• out of — изнутри наружу: get out of the classroom;
• onto — на поверхность: onto the desk / the roof;
• around — вокруг или «за» угол: around the corner;
• down — вниз: down the hill;
• into — внутрь: into the river / the pool;
• along — вдоль: along the road;
• through — сквозь: through the clouds;
• over — через препятствие: over the barrier.

Проверка: в №5 два предлога — down показывает движение вниз, into — попадание внутрь реки. В №3 и №8 нужен onto, потому что предмет перемещается на поверхность.
