2. There is a wonderful park in our neighbourhood. It is next to our school. There are a lot of huge trees and beautiful flowers in the park. In the middle of the park there is a fountain. In the northern part of the park there is my favourite café. I like the fruit ice cream there very much.

— Yes.
— How many rooms are there in it?
— Four.
— Which room is your favourite?
— The library. We have a lot of books on history. In the corner there is my favourite old green armchair.

— Hello, Tolya. What happened?
— My tap is leaking, and I don’t know what to do. And there’s something wrong with the computer.

— Four o’clock.
— He will come or send someone. I’ll help you with the computer in the evening.

Что важно запомнить

• at — точное время: at 3 p.m., at half past four;
• in — месяц, год, время суток, сезон: in May, in 2001, in the morning;
• on — день или дата: on Saturday, on 6 September;
• артикль a/an — первый предмет, the — конкретный; с притяжательными (my sister’s) артикль не нужен.

Проверка: «в половине пятого» — это 4:30, то есть half past four, а не half past five.
