WHAT HAPPENS IN AN ICE CREAM FACTORY?
First, the cream, eggs and sugar (1) ___ (mix) together in a big machine. Then, the mixture (2) ___ (cook) to kill any bacteria and make it safe to eat. After this, the flavourings (3) ___ (add). Как выбрать форму
- Past Simple Passive: \(was/were + V_{3}\), где \(V_{3}\) — третья форма глагола. В №3: book, bike, school, phone — единственное число → was; cakes, paintings — множественное → were. Отрицание: was not + \(V_{3}\).
- Present Simple Passive: \(am/is/are + V_{3}\). Если подлежащее само выполняет действие, нужен активный залог.
- В №4: cream, eggs and sugar — множественное число → are mixed; mixture — единственное → is cooked; flavourings — множественное → are added.
- В пунктах (4), (5), (7) активный залог: These include, makers put, it comes.
- В (6), (8), (9) пассив: is frozen, is put, is sent.
- В (10) главное слово litres — множественное число, поэтому are sold. Запомни формы: freeze — froze — frozen, send — sent — sent, sell — sold — sold.
