They met Beatrice who was a witch and a talking bluebird. They offered to help them get home. Beatrice gave them a map. "Be careful," warned the witch. "The wolflike creature is still out there." Following the map all night, Wirt, Greg and Beatrice finally found their way out of the forest and returned home.

Почему так
Я сверил каждое предложение с текстом:
- В тексте: lost in a dark and scary forest → значит, не в поле, а в лесу.
- В тексте: heard a wolflike creature → они услышали, а не увидели его.
- В тексте: everyone was dressed in pumpkins → люди были одеты в тыквы, а не в животных.
- В тексте: met Beatrice who was a witch and a talking bluebird → они встретили ведьму и говорящую синюю птицу. Это верно.
- В тексте: Beatrice gave them a map → ведьма дала карту, а не книгу.
- В тексте: finally found their way out of the forest and returned home → они выбрались из леса и вернулись домой. Это верно.
Как делать похожее задание
В таких упражнениях важно сравнивать не общий смысл, а точные детали. Если заменено хотя бы одно слово — место, действие или предмет — предложение считается ложным. Например: field → forest, saw → heard, animals → pumpkins, book → map. Тогда нужно переписать предложение по тексту.
Небольшое замечание: в №5 в книге, похоже, опечатка — напечатано with вместо witch. В №6 также напечатано Betrice, а в тексте — Beatrice.
