From: Alice@mail.uk To: Russian_friend@sd[неразборчиво] Subject: Dear friend
…One of my friends gets ill very often. The doctor says that it's because he lives in a big city with a poor environment… What ecological problems are the most serious in your country? What can teenagers do to make their hometown cleaner? Would you like to live in a big city or in the country, why?
Write a message to Alice and answer her 3 questions. Write 100–120 words. Remember the rules of letter writing.

1. Пропуск (словообразование): appear → disappear «…most of their fears disappear» (строка обрезана на «fe…», видно только (APPEAR) — подходит приставка dis-).
2. Задание 35 — письмо (103 слова):
Dear Alice,
Thanks for your message. I'm sorry to hear that your friend gets ill so often. I hope he will feel better soon.
As for ecological problems in my country, the most serious ones are air pollution from cars and factories and a lot of rubbish in the streets.
Teenagers can make their hometown cleaner: they can collect litter in parks, plant trees and use public transport instead of cars.
I would like to live in the country because the air is fresh and there is less noise. But big cities have more jobs and opportunities.
Write back soon.
Best wishes, Alex

Письмо по шаблону (те же ответы про экологию):
Dear Masha,
Thank you for your email message. It was great to hear from you again. Thank you for asking me so interesting questions. Now I'm going to answer your first question. Well, I can say that the most serious ecological problems in my country are air pollution and a lot of rubbish in the streets. As for your second question, teenagers can make their hometown cleaner: they can collect litter in parks and plant trees. Answering your last question, I can say that I would like to live in the country because the air is fresh there.
Anyway, I have to go now as it's time for going to the swimming pool.
Best wishes, Polina
