В №1 важны устойчивые словосочетания:
- pickled vegetables — маринованные овощи, подсказка — vinegar;
- a pinch of salt — щепотка соли;
- sparkling water — газированная вода;
- a bar of chocolate — плитка шоколада;
- steak rare — стейк слабой прожарки;
- a litre of milk — литр молока;
- overcooked vegetables — переваренные овощи;
- peel the potatoes — почистить картофель;
- grated cheese — тёртый сыр;
- dark chocolate — тёмный шоколад.
В №2 используется словообразование:
- like → dislike: приставка dis- даёт отрицательное значение;
- place → misplace → has misplaced: mis- означает «неправильно», после has нужна третья форма глагола;
- honest → dishonest: снова отрицательная приставка dis-;
- advantage → disadvantage → disadvantages: после «one of the biggest» нужен глагол в значении «недостатки» во множественном числе;
- understand → misunderstand: mis- = «неправильно понять».
Проверка: в №1 каждое слово использовано один раз, а в №2 формы согласованы с предложением: has misplaced, one of the biggest disadvantages, don’t misunderstand.
