Краткий ответ. Нужно составить предложения о географических объектах своей страны. Если твоя страна — Казахстан, подойдут такие варианты:

• Balkhash is a famous lake in the southeast of Kazakhstan. — образец из учебника.
• The Kolsai Lakes are beautiful lakes in the southeast of Kazakhstan.
• The Charyn Canyon is a deep canyon in the southeast of Kazakhstan.
• The Ural River is a long river in the west of Kazakhstan.
• Khan Tengri is a high mountain in the southeast of Kazakhstan.
• There is a waterfall in the mountains of Kazakhstan.

Как построить своё предложение

1. Выбери объект: lake, river, mountain, waterfall, canyon.
2. Назови его и добавь прилагательное: a famous lake, a high mountain, beautiful lakes.
3. Укажи место: in the southeast / north / west of Kazakhstan.
4. Согласуй глагол: один объект — is, несколько — are.

Модель: Название + is/are + a/an + прилагательное + объект + in the … of Kazakhstan.

Если не хочешь называть конкретное имя, используй: There is a … in the … of Kazakhstan. There are … in the … of Kazakhstan.

Проверка: в каждом предложении есть объект и место; is стоит с единственным числом, are — с множественным; названия рек, морей и групп озёр обычно употребляются с the, а отдельные озёра и горы — без the.
