3. Present Simple / Present Continuous
- tastes — «It tastes wonderful»: вкус как состояние, поэтому Present Simple.
- is washing — действие происходит сейчас.
- go — «usually», привычка.
- Are you studying — «at the moment», действие сейчас.
- am listening — просьба тишины, действие в момент речи.
- is getting married — договорённость на ближайшее будущее.
- am not sleeping — временная ситуация сейчас.
- meet — «once a month», регулярное действие.
- am preparing — действие сейчас.
- rains — общий факт, «in winter».
4. Подходящая форма глагола

Коротко: глаголы состояния — know, prefer, belong, think в значении «считать», see в значении «понимать», deserve, look в значении «выглядеть» — обычно не ставятся в Continuous. Но think of = «обдумывать», поэтому в №8 нужен Continuous.
5. Passive
- Wine is exported from France and Germany.
- The rubbish is collected once a week.
- The money is being counted at the moment.
Схема: Present Simple Passive — \(am/is/are + V_3\); Present Continuous Passive — \(am/is/are + being + V_3\).

Принцип: Present Simple Passive — \(am/is/are + V_3\), Present Continuous Passive — \(am/is/are + being + V_3\). Время оставляем таким же, как в активном предложении.

Проверка по смыслу: газету «доставляют» — пассив; джем «импортируют», круассаны «делают» — тоже пассив; друзья «приходят» — актив; «людей не приглашают» — отрицательный пассив.
Задание 7
- T — в тексте сказано, что она монахиня «since she was 16».
- F — она молчит «for 22 hours a day», то есть 22 часа, а не два.
- T — каждые несколько месяцев она уезжает из каравана и путешествует по Европе, ведя «двойную жизнь».
- F — она посещает европейские арт-столицы, а не все столицы Европы.
Задание 8. Перевод
- Мы обычно занимаемся аэробикой по средам.
- — Что ты делаешь? — Я убираюсь в своей спальне.
- — Что ты думаешь о современном искусстве? — Я его не очень понимаю.
- Обед предоставляется каждый день. (Или: «Обед подают каждый день».)
- Мой дом сейчас ремонтируют. (Или: «В моём доме сейчас идёт ремонт».)
