Taking photos helps him to be creative, and football keeps him active and fit.

Как находить ответ в тексте
В заданиях такого типа вопрос почти всегда «перефразирует» одну конкретную фразу. Ищи ключевые слова вопроса и его синонимы:
- Who does Sarah spend a lot of time with? → в тексте: «I also spend a lot of time with my grandmother».
- What is her grandmother like? — вопрос о характере, значит ищем прилагательные: «My grandma is patient and kind».
- What does Sarah look like? — вопрос о внешности: «I have long curly brown hair and green eyes». Вариант a) сбивает тем, что тоже про волосы и глаза, но признаки другие — сравнивай все детали, а не одну.
- What does she enjoy doing in her free time? → «In my free time, I enjoy drawing portraits and playing volleyball». Вариант a) объединяет оба занятия — это и есть правильный.
- What new activity did she start last week? → «Last week I joined an art club at school».
Для второго текста вопрос How long have the narrator and Alex known each other? — о времени знакомства: «We have known each other since childhood». Варианты b) и c) — «ловушки» с конкретными сроками, которых в тексте нет.
Проверка и полезный приём
- Ответ подтверждается дословной цитатой из текста. Если цитаты нет — вариант неверный, даже если он звучит логично.
- Сначала прочитай вопросы до текста: тогда нужные слова «зацепятся» при чтении.
- Следи за ловушками: в вариантах часто стоят слова из текста, но с другим признаком (blonde вместо brown, drama вместо art).
