Hi! I'm Isabella. I live in Alberta, in Canada. I study at the local high school, but I'm not at school today. Today is Take Our Kids to Work™ Day, when parents or other family members can take a child with them to work. On this day, we can find out what grown-ups' jobs are really like and see all the things they have to do when they are at work. We can also see what we like about their jobs. This helps young people decide what they want to do in the future.
Today I'm at work with my mother. We're on a farm, because my mum is a vet. She looks after animals when they are hurt or ill. She enjoys being outside. I would like to work outside, too. I don't think I would like an office job.
