Как понять принцип
- В №1 важны сочетания: a teaspoonful of sugar, a loaf of bread, a pinch of pepper. «Bar» — для шоколада/мыла, «slice» — для хлеба/сыра.
- В №2 глаголы обозначают способы приготовления: beat — взбивать, peel — снимать кожуру, chop — рубить на кусочки, slice — резать ломтиками, pour — наливать.
- В №3 запоминай устойчивые сочетания: grilled fish, brown bread, scrambled eggs, sparkling water.
- В №4 идиомы: a piece of cake = очень легко; take with a pinch of salt = не принимать полностью на веру; crying over spilt milk = сожалеть о том, что уже сделано; my cup of tea = то, что мне нравится; spill the beans = проболтаться.
- В №5 смотри на главное существительное: scissors/scales/clothes — множественное число → are; luggage/furniture — неисчисляемые → is; maths — название предмета → is; the best way — единственное число → is.
Проверка: в №5 можно заменить подлежащее на it или they: luggage → it is, scissors → they are.
