Как понять принцип

• В Past Simple утверждение строится со второй формой глагола:
  go → went, buy → bought, hear → heard, make → made, eat → ate, see → saw, drink → drank.
• В отрицании используется didn't + начальная форма глагола:
  didn't go, didn't buy, didn't make, didn't eat, didn't hear.
  Нельзя сказать didn't went или didn't bought.
• В упражнении 1:
  • one — для одного предмета: a ball → didn't buy one, an ice cream → didn't eat one;
  • any — для множественного числа или неисчисляемого: giraffes, lions, orange juice.
• В номере 6 нужно go to the theatre — с предлогом to и артиклем the.

Проверка: там, где стоит ✗, есть didn't; там, где ✓, глагол стоит во второй форме: heard, made, bought, ate.
