Hi Uncle Dom,
Mum tells me you've got a new camera and that you want to give me your old one because you aren't using it, great! I hear it's better than the one I am using at the moment, so I am writing this email to say thank you!
Are you taking lots of great photos now with your new camera? I am preparing a presentation for my media studies class with a classmate this week. We are learning a lot about taking photos in black and white - it's interesting! We are not using photos, so I am looking forward to using the new camera very much!
… on a series of winter photographs.
Thanks again and see you soon,
Jo
(Note: You left an incomplete sentence "… on a series of winter photographs." It seems to be missing the present continuous verb form which could fit in the context. You may want to review the intended message for this part of the email.)
