S: Yes, I did. I got nearly everything I needed. J: Did you manage to find everything on your shopping list?

S: Well, I went to the butcher's and to the bakery and to the grocer's. J: Did you visit any other shops besides these?

S: I don’t remember how many rolls I have bought. Several, anyway. J: Can you at least guess how many rolls you bought?

S: I didn’t buy any steak because the butcher didn’t have it at that early hour. J: Do you want me to go back later and see if they have steak then?
