Привет! Давай вместе разберёмся с этим заданием. На фото у нас упражнения по английскому языку на тему времен и косвенной речи.

1. Нужно вставить правильное время с использованием предложенных глаголов. Давай попробуем:

• ... Past Simple: "I played football yesterday."
• ... could: "She could swim when she was five."
• ... will: "They will travel to France next summer."

2. Теперь перефразируем предложения в косвенной речи:

• "We tried our best" – The member of the losing team said (that) they had tried their best.
• "I want you to go home" – You said (that) you wanted (me/him/her) to go home.
• "You are going to lose your mind" – You said to your sister (that) she was going to lose her mind.
• "He has just come here" – One teacher said to another (that) he had just come there.
• "I will beat you up" – A bully said to a little kid (that) he would beat him up.
• "I can't stand English lessons" – Your classmate said (that) he/she couldn't stand English lessons.

3. Теперь нужно написать 3 предложения в прямой речи и перефразировать их в косвенную:

Пример прямой речи: "I have finished my homework," said the student. Пример косвенной речи: The student said (that) he/she had finished his/her homework.
