You have received a letter from your English-speaking pen friend, Rob. ( напиши письмо) Every day I have fights with my mother. She thinks I'm getting dependent on computer and doesn't want to admit that there are a lot of other ways to use a computer, not just for games, And what does computer mean for you? Do you find much time to play games (what kind of them)? Does it help you much in your studies?…

Subject: Re: Our Chats About Computers and Games

Hi Rob,

I hope this letter finds you well! I understand your frustration with your mother. It seems that a lot of parents have concerns about how much time we spend on computers, especially when it comes to gaming. But I believe there are many valuable uses for computers beyond just playing games.

For me, a computer is a powerful tool. It helps me stay organized, research information for my studies, and connect with friends and family. I use it for writing assignments, creating presentations, and sometimes even learning new skills, like coding or graphic design. The internet is filled with resources that can enhance our education in ways that traditional learning sometimes can't.

As for gaming, I do find some time to play games, though I try to balance it with my studies. I enjoy strategy games and role-playing games the most. They not only provide a fun escape but also help improve my problem-solving skills and critical thinking. In fact, some games require teamwork and communication, which can enhance my social skills too.

I do think that playing games can aid in my studies by giving me a break and helping me recharge. Finding that balance is important, though, to ensure that my studies come first. Sometimes I even use educational games that can be both entertaining and beneficial for my learning.

I hope your mom can see the positive aspects of computer usage beyond just gaming. Maybe you can have a conversation with her about how you use it for things other than just games.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Best wishes,
[Your Name]
