How I Spent My Summer
June was quiet and restful. I stayed at home all month, reading books, practicing English, and helping my parents in the garden. Mornings began with a cup of coffee and a stroll around the neighborhood, and evenings were perfect for watching movies or chatting with family. It felt good to slow down after a busy school year.
In July I spent time by the sea and also visited Krasnodar. I started with several days at the sea, where the salty breeze, the sound of waves, and the warm sun made me feel relaxed and free. I swam, built sandcastles, and collected seashells with friends. Later in July I went to Krasnodar. The city was lively and welcoming. I walked along the streets, enjoyed parks, and tried some local dishes. It was interesting to experience a new place and practice my Russian in real-life conversations.
August brought a different kind of rest as well—I stayed at my grandmother’s house. The days were calm and cozy. I helped with small chores, cooked meals together, and listened to her stories about the past. We took long walks in the countryside and picked berries from the berry bushes. Those simple moments felt warm and comforting, like a gentle pause before the next school year.
Looking back, the summer was a good mix of relaxation and exploration. June gave me a quiet start, July brought energy from the sea and new experiences in Krasnodar, and August offered family warmth at my grandmother’s home. I returned to everyday life feeling refreshed and ready for what lies ahead.
