The color of the sky is constantly changing. This is 30_______ to physical principles, as well as the peculiarities of human perception of light.

When light from the Sun falls on the Earth, it passes through interplanetary space, which is a vacuum, enters the atmosphere and interacts with air inhomogeneities, which includes atoms of various elements: oxygen, nitrogen, carbon. 31_______, these inhomogeneities scatter light.

There is a wide range of wavelengths of light coming from the Sun, and it covers different colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. These colors are arranged in order of decreasing wavelength: red has the longest wavelength, yellow has a shorter one, and violet has the shortest wavelength.

At sunset, the sky above the horizon takes on a beautiful pink hue. This color also appears 32_______ of the scattering of sunlight in the atmosphere. Since light travels in all directions, only part of it reaches us, and the rest returns to space. The part of the solar energy that returns outside the earth's atmosphere is small, but for some phenomena it can be significant. In visible radiation, the difference between the energy received by the earth's surface and the upper atmosphere is primarily due to scattering.

33_______, we see that in the daytime the energy received on the ground is less than that incident on the upper layers of the atmosphere by about 25% in the blue and 10% in the red ranges. At sunset, these proportions change 34_______ the light has to travel through much more of the atmosphere. 35_______, the blue light is almost completely scattered, and the observer on the ground sees mostly red.

36_______ the sun disappears below the horizon, night gradually falls. The color of the sky at night is a completely different matter.

    Решение

At sunset, these proportions change as the light has to travel through much more of the atmosphere. - На закате эти пропорции меняются, поскольку свету приходится проходить через гораздо большую часть атмосферы.
